2026 - Consultant Specialist under Project OEI/BRA/24/005 – Strengthening the Strategy for the Promotion of Brazilian Culture, Education and the Portuguese Language Abroad. The consultancy consists of conducting a comprehensive historical, institutional, and strategic study of Brazil’s engagement in multilateral cultural and educational forums, in alignment with the mandate of the Instituto Guimarães Rosa (IGR). The work involves the identification and analysis of agreements, treaties, and conventions, the development of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, the systematization of bibliographic and documentary sources from 1945 to 2025, and the production of analytical reports and digital repositories aimed at consolidating the institutional memory and strategic positioning of Brazilian cultural diplomacy.
Latin American Security and Defence Network (RESDAL)
2023-2024 - Researcher for the projects “Women in Peace Operations: Supporting Inclusive Environments through Interregional Collaboration and Engagement at the National Level (PSOP 22-077)” and the “Comparative Atlas of Defence and Security in Latin America and the Caribbean – 2024 Edition.” The consultancy involved comparative research on gender inclusion in security institutions, data collection and institutional mapping across Latin America, and the production of technical and policy-oriented reports addressing civil-military relations, defence governance, transparency, and regional security dynamics.
2021 - Researcher and ad hoc Field Research Coordinator for the project “Assessment of Barriers to the Participation of Women in the Armed Forces and Police of Mexico in UN Peace Operations,” funded by the Elsie Initiative Fund (UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office). The consultancy included coordinating fieldwork activities, supervising data collection processes, conducting qualitative institutional analysis, and contributing to policy recommendations aimed at strengthening gender inclusion within peacekeeping frameworks.
2020 - Research Coordinator for the project “The Work of Military Forces in the Context of the COVID-19 Crisis.” The consultancy consisted of a comparative regional assessment of military roles in public health emergencies across Latin America, examining the expansion of non-traditional security functions and their implications for civil-military relations, democratic oversight, and institutional accountability.
2017 - Researcher for the project “Contribution to the Colombian Peace Process: Collaborating with the Army’s Transformation Process through the Provision of Regional Experiences and Expertise,” funded by the Global Peace and Security Fund (Global Affairs Canada). The consultancy focused on comparative analysis of defence reform experiences in Latin America, providing analytical inputs and regional expertise to support institutional transformation processes within the Colombian Army during the post-conflict transition.
2011 - Junior Researcher for the project “Military Education: Future Armed Forces Officials and Democracy,” funded by the Open Society Foundations. The consultancy involved field research within Brazilian military academies and participation in a comparative regional study examining the relationship between military education systems and democratic governance.
2010 - Junior Researcher for the “Comparative Atlas of Defence and Security in Latin America and the Caribbean – 2010 Edition.” Based at RESDAL’s headquarters in Buenos Aires, the consultancy included data collection, institutional mapping, and comparative analysis of defence governance structures across the region, contributing to one of the most comprehensive regional datasets on security and defence institutions.
